SBI PO 2022 Eligibility Criteria
We have shared below the minimum eligibility requirements for taking SBI PO 2022 exam:
Age Criteria: The age of a candidate should not below 21 years and not above 30 years as on 1st April 2022. It means those have been born not later than 1st April 2001 and not earlier than 2nd April 1992 (both days inclusive). Relaxation in the upper age limit will be provided in the following way:

Educational Qualification
A recognized Graduation degree or its equivalent is the minimum qualification a candidate must possess to take SBI PO 2022 exam. Those are studying in the final year/semester of their Graduation can also apply however they will need to produce proof of having passed the graduation on or before 31st December 2022.
Candidates who have Integrated Dual Degree (IDD) certificate should ensure that the date of passing the IDD is on or before 31st December 2022.
Candidates having qualification of Chartered Accountant or Cost Accountant may
also apply.
Other:
Candidates with record of default in repayment of loans/ credit card dues and/ or against whose name adverse report of CIBIL or other external agencies are available are not eligible for appointment.
Candidates against whom there is/ are adverse report regarding character & antecedents, moral turpitude are not eligible to apply for the post.
Emoluments: Presently, the starting basic pay is 41,960/- (with 4 advance increments) in the scale of 36000-1490/7-46430-1740/2-49910-1990/7-63840 applicable to Junior Management Grade Scale-I. The official will also be eligible for D.A, H.R.A/ Lease rental, C.C.A, Medical and other allowances & perquisites as per rules in force from time to time.

Eligible candidates may apply online for SBI PO 2022 from October 2022 after the release of its respective notification. No other mode of application will be accepted.
You should have your valid email ID and mobile number and it needs to be kept active till the announcement of results. Email ID and phone number are used for further communication with the bank.
How to Fill Online Application?
First of all you need to check whether you meet the eligibility criteria as shared by the bank. Further, you need to visit Bank’s ‘Career’ website https://bank.sbi/careers or https://www.sbi.co.in/careers to apply for the exam. Candidates are further required to pay application fee using credit card/debit card/internet banking.

SBI PO 2022 Exam Pattern
The selection of a Probationary Officer in State Bank of India is a three-tier process and description of the same has been shared below:
Phase-I: Preliminary Exam
Preliminary exam will be an objective test of 100 marks and it will be conducted in online mode. There will be three sections of the exam:

Selection criteria for Main Examination: The category-wise merit list will be prepared based on aggregate marks scored in the preliminary exam. There will be no sectional cut-off. Candidates numbering 10 times (approx.) the numbers of vacancies in each category will be short listed for Main Examination from the top of above merit list.
Phase II- Main Examination
The mode of conducting the main examination is online. It will be an objective test of 200 marks and a descriptive test of 50 marks. The descriptive test will be conducted after the objective test is over. Candidates are required to type their Descriptive Test answers on the computer.
Objective Test: The test will be conducted over duration of 3 hour and there will be four sections of 200 marks. There will be separate timing for each section.

Descriptive Test: The test will be conducted over duration of 30 minutes. It will be a Test of English Language (Letter Writing & Essay) with two questions for total 50 marks.
Negative Marking: Yes, 1/4th marks will be deducted for every incorrect attempt.
Phase III: There may be an interview of 50 marks or Interview (30 marks) & Group Exercises (20 marks).
Candidates have to acquire the minimum qualifying marks as decided by the bank in exam.
Final Selection
Candidates are required to qualify both the phases Phase II and Phase III separately. The marks scored by candidates in phase II will be added to the marks obtained in phase III for the preparation of merit list. The marks scored in the prelims exam will not be added while preparing the final merit list.
Marks secured by the candidates in the Phase-II (out of 250 marks) are converted to out of 75 marks and Phase-III scores of candidates (out of 50 marks) are converted to out of 25 marks. The final merit list is arrived at after aggregating (out of 100) converted marks of Phase-II and Phase-III. Selection will be made from the top merit ranked candidates in each category.
SBI PO 2022 Admit Card
Candidates can download their respective call letter for Pre-exam Training/ Preliminary Exam/ Main Exam/ GE & Interview and an “acquaint yourself booklet”, simply by providing their registration number and password/date of birth from the bank’s website.
Hard copy of the call letter/acquaint yourself booklet will not be shared by post.
CARE: At the time of Main Exam, the candidate must bring duly authenticated “Original Preliminary Exam Call Letter (with Authenticated Copy of ID Proof)” as well as “Main Exam Call Letter” with “Requisite Documents” at the time of Main Exam. These documents along with requisite documents need to be submitted during the Main Exam.
Candidates are also required to bring two additional photographs (same as pasted on call letter) along with call letter and other required documents.
In case you report without photograph pasted on your call letter and without two additional photographs then you won’t be permitted to take the preliminary exam.
